From there, sessions are built around targeted instruction and practice designed to address those specific needs.

SAT Math preparation requires something different: students need a strong mathematical foundation, but they also need to understand how that mathematics is tested on the digital SAT. We work on both—the underlying math and the strategies, tools, and decision-making that can help students solve SAT problems efficiently.

Yes. Desmos is built directly into the digital SAT and can be an extremely effective problem-solving tool when students know how and when to use it. I teach students how to use Desmos strategically for appropriate SAT problems while also making sure they have the mathematical understanding to recognize when another approach may be faster or more effective.

I look beyond the student's overall SAT score and analyze the types of questions they are missing, the mathematical concepts involved, and how they are approaching those problems. This helps identify patterns and allows our sessions and practice to focus on the areas most likely to improve performance rather than simply working through random SAT questions.

There isn't one schedule that works for every student.
