Everything you need to know
Currently, I focus on one-on-one tutoring to provide the most personalized experience. This ensures that each student receives individual attention tailored to their learning needs.
The number of sessions depends on your current level and target score. Some students meet their goals in as little as 8-10 sessions, but the majority of others benefit from at least 12 tutoring sessions leading up to the test.
While a minimum score is not necessary, it is strongly recommended that a student have a score close to 600 or better on the math part of the digital SAT. The content and topics covered may not be foreign, however the pace and work required between sessions may be too much for one to sustain over the duration of the class.
Office hours are a time when students can get one-on-one help from me on topics or problems they’re struggling with. Students can bring questions or assignments, and I help work through them one at a time.
The homework you receive will be based on what was covered in the session. Questions will be from the College Board SAT Question Bank. Each student will make a copy of a mistake tracker to log errors as they complete their homework problem sets.
